Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies

INGREDIENTS

INSTRUCTIONS
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 cups white sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2/3 cup baking cocoa
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup coarsely chopped nuts, (optional)
  1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2 In large bowl, beat butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until light and fluffy.
  3 Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Add to butter mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts (if desired).
  4 Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  5 Bake for 8-10 minutes or just until set.
  6 Cool slightly, remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely.
