Too Easy Brownies

cup butter

ounces unsweetened chocolate, chopped

1

cup sugar

  eggs

1

teaspoon vanilla

3/4

cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup chopped nuts
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease an 8x8x2-inch baking pan; set aside.
  3. In a medium saucepan melt butter and chocolate over low heat. Remove from heat.
  4. Stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  5. Using a wooden spoon, lightly beat the mixture just until combined (don't overbeat or brownies will rise too high then fall).
  6. Stir in flour and chopped nuts.
  7. Spread batter in prepared pan.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes.

  9. Cool in pan on a wire rack. Cut into bars.

These no-mixing-bowl brownies are a breeze to make. Mix them in a saucepan, pour them in a baking pan, and enjoy them in no time.
