Broiled Salmon Steaks With Herb Sauce

INGREDIENTS

INSTRUCTIONS

1 lb. salmon steaks (can substitute trout fillets, bluefish, sablefish )

1 Tbsp. margarine

1/4 cup dry white wine

1 Tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped

1/4 tsp. fine herbs or bouquet garnish

1 clove garlic, minced

  1. Combine margarine, wine, parsley, herbs and garlic in a saucepan; heat slowly until margarine is melted. Let stand 15 minutes.
  2. Place fish on broiler pan; brush with sauce.
  3. Broil about 4 inches from heat source, 4-6 minutes. Turn carefully; brush with sauce. Broil 4-6 minutes longer or until fish flakes when tested with a fork. Can be grilled instead of broiled.
Serve with baked potatoes and zucchini squash
