Cranberry Peach Relish



1 16 ounce can sliced peaches, in juice

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 tsp. allspice

3 cups fresh cranberries

  1. Drain peaches, reserving liquid and chop. Place chopped peaches, reserved juice, brown sugar and allspice in a large sauce pan.
  2. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently and cook for two minutes. Add cranberries, reduce heat, and simmer for 10 - 12 minutes or until cranberries pop and mixture thickens (it will thicken more as it cools). Let cool. Store covered in refrigerator.

Serve room temperature or chilled with poultry or pork.
