1 Tbsp. reduced sodium soy sauce

3 Tbsp. hoisin sauce

1 Tbsp. corn starch

1 Tbsp. sesame seeds

1 lb. beef top round or boneless top sirloin steak, 1 inch thick, trimmed

2 Tbsp. vegetable oil

1 clove garlic, minced

2 tsp. grated fresh ginger or 1/2 tsp. ground ginger

1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes (optional)

2 cups fresh vegetables, sliced or chopped, in season (such as asparagus, red pepper, broccoli, snow peas, carrots, etc.)
